Raw Footage and Rough Edit
We shot all of our raw footage in a single sitting, then we put this footage into a rough edit of how we wanted our opening to look. When doing this however we realised that there were things within the opening that could be improved, this lead us going back to shot another few times.
Software and Sound:
We used a classical piece for the beginning of our opening, as there was no copy right attached to it due to its age, and it gave a sense of grander that we we're trying to capture with our main character. Next we found a royalty free website and layered ambient pieces of music to get our desired sound.
We used iMovie to edit our opening together, we found that altering the colour of our opening gave a starker look to the opening.
What would you like to improve?:
I would not like to rely so heavily on post production and editing software to ensure our piece has the colour that we wanted.
